Under the Indomobil Group banner, the Chinese automotive brand Maxus is officially launched in Indonesia. Taking advantage of the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023, they launched their debut model, the Mifa 9, a premium MPV featuring pure electric or battery electric vehicle (BEV) technology.

The launch of the Maxus Mifa 9 in Indonesia marks it as the first premium MPV equipped with full electric technology. For those interested, it is priced at Rp1.425 billion on the road (OTR) in Jakarta, with estimated unit deliveries starting in February 2024.

According to Andry Ciu, Advisory Board Member of Indomobil Group, the Maxus Mifa 9 sold and delivered to consumers will be locally assembled, or CKD (Completely Knocked Down). The assembly will take place at Indomobil's facility in Cikampek, West Java.
